Benchtop table saw
The Amazon pick is a jobsite saw with a folding rolling stand you can stow against a wall; the Grizzly saw is a heavier variable-speed benchtop that stays on its bench.
Layout · Three-car, 32 x 24
A mixed shop with a car parked in a 32 x 24 ft garage: all 7 machines fit. 5 circuits on 120V, subpanel around 60 A, and 529 of 768 sq ft is aisle, operator zone and open floor rather than machine.

Every machine in this trade's package found a place on the floor.
| Item | Sq ft | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Garage floor | 768 | 100% |
| Vehicles parked inside | 198 | 26% |
| Machine and bench footprints | 41 | 5% |
| Aisles, zones and the door apron | 529 | 69% |
There is room to spare, so the next purchase can be a bigger machine rather than a smaller bay. Footprints are the machine's own size; the zones and aisles are why a garage "feels" smaller than the sum of its machines.
An 8 ft board through the jobsite table saw on a stand needs about 14 ft of clear line (the saw's depth plus about 1.5 times the stock). In this plan the clearest run is 3 ft with the vehicle out and 3 ft with it in: short with the car out, not with it in. The usual answers are an outfeed table that folds away, breaking sheets down outside with a track saw, or putting the saw on a mobile base and rolling it to the middle of the bay.
This plan only works because the machines roll. Park the car, keep everything compact against the back wall, and roll tools out to a working position when the car is gone.
In work mode, with the car out, the plan puts 6 of the machines in working positions and keeps the operator zones clear for all of them.
With 2 sedans parked inside, the vehicle takes 198 sq ft and its walk-around keeps another strip clear. Stored machines carry no operator zone in this plan, because you only run them when the car is out. Check each parked position against your car's door swing before you commit.

That is 5 circuits, about 22 A of demand after diversity, and a subpanel in the 60 A range to ask your electrician about. Sizes use NEC Table 430.248 for motor amps and Table 310.16 (60 C column) for wire; have a licensed electrician confirm. The workshop amps calculator lets you change the loads.

One card per machine in the plan. Each shows the Amazon pick and the Grizzly Industrial pick for the same job.
The Amazon pick is a jobsite saw with a folding rolling stand you can stow against a wall; the Grizzly saw is a heavier variable-speed benchtop that stays on its bench.
Both are 14 in, 1 HP saws that run on 120V. The Grizzly saw is the established cast-iron-table pick; the Amazon pick is dual-voltage and ships to your door.
Pick the Amazon bench for the lowest entry cost; pick the Grizzly bench if you want outlets built into the bench and a direct parts line.
Prices change often and Grizzly runs sales, so the buttons show current prices.

The machines in this plan need 5 circuits: 0 at 240V and 5 at 120V, which suggests a subpanel in the 60 A range. Have a licensed electrician confirm the service and the panel.
About 529 of 768 sq ft, 69 percent, is aisle, operator zone and door apron once Jobsite saw, Bandsaw, Tool bench, and Vac + separator and the rest are placed.
